Board of Directors

Led by David Slayton, Executive Director of the Arctic Security Initiative and retired Commander of the United States Navy, The Arctic Institute Board of Directors is a global group of thought-leaders drawn from distinguished researchers, former government officials, community leaders, and business executives. Directors serve two-year terms and meet four times a year. The Board’s role is to provide governance of financial affairs, guide the selection of research projects, and safeguard the independence of the Institute’s work.
