Seth Andre Myers is a Senior Fellow. Seth focuses on security and the potential for military conflict in the Arctic, with a particular focus on Russian and Chinese interests in the region, great power competition, and energy security. In addition to his work at The Arctic Institute, he is a co-founder and principal at High North Consulting, a strategic advisory firm focusing on the Arctic region.
Prior to joining The Arctic Institute, Seth worked at the Council on Foreign Relations, where he focused on counterinsurgency and counter-terrorism, and the Center for a New American Security, where he focused on energy security. Seth has previously held positions in private intelligence, media, and the public sector. His writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, World Politics Review, and Business Day, among others.
Seth has an AB from Harvard University and an MA from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He divides his time between the United States and France.
