Research Topics:

Agathe Jacques is a Research Intern at The Arctic Institute, and researchers on Arctic ocean governance to develop a series of policy briefs and articles, led by Managing Director Romain Chuffart.

Agathe is a Master’s Candidate in Human Geography: Conflict, Territories, and Identities at Radboud University. She is currently writing her Thesis, which discusses the concept of maritime sovereignty in the Arctic Ocean. Generally, Agathe is interested in the geopolitics of the Arctic Ocean, Arctic (Ocean) governance, and maritime sovereignty. Previously, Agathe graduated from Stockholm University with a BA in Human Geography.
