Anastasiia Posnova

Anastasiia Posnova is a Research Assistant at The Arctic Institute, working with the Editorial team. Her research interests include energy geopolitics, climate change, international security, and the place of the Arctic in Russian foreign policy.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at Central European University. She also serves as a Research Consultant for Schmidt Futures — a technology-focused philanthropic initiative.

Anastasiia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University. She has previously contributed to research briefs produced by Russia Matters, worked as a Legal Assistant at a boutique law firm in New York City, and interned at the State Hermitage Museum.
