The Arctic Institute is launching a new series of podcasts! In this series, TAI Research Associates Liubov Timonina and Romain Chuffart talk to scholars and experts about different ways to understand and know the Arctic to make the region easy and accessible to everybody.

For the last episode of 2020, Romain and Liuba sat down with TAI President and Managing Director Victoria Herrmann. They talked about climate change research and teaching in the US, the science-policy interface as well as Victoria’s work on connecting people from different backgrounds and career stages through creating and maintaining inclusive platforms for discussion. Last but not least, Victoria also shares her thoughts about finding one’s own metric for success and gives some advice for early-career researchers.
